CHINA HORIZON 206 E. Las Tunas Drive, Suite 2 San Gabriel, CA 91776 November 1999 Dear Friend of China Horizon: With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, the year 1999 is drawing to a close, and that God has been faithful and merciful to us. Your prayers and support have made it possible for us to continue by God's grace. Thank you for standing by with us. The Lord has allowed us to complete the editing of four book manuscripts in 1999: * Chinese Intellectuals and the Gospel * The Chinese Way of Doing Things * Lit-Sen Chang, What is Apologetics * Lit-Sen Chang, Asia's Religions The next stage is to select a printing company for printing! In addition, in 1999 we have been distributing the second printing of Soul Searching; and the first release Christianity and Western Culture (English video and English audiocassette). In 1999, the Lord has also allowed me to minister through teaching in several conferences and seminaries. In Ocotober we completed our move to the present office location. We give all the credit and glory to God. We are grateful for the privilege of serving our Savior at this critical moment in history. It is a deep joy to serve the people of God. In 2000, we plan to focus our ministries in the following areas: 1. Conduct theological seminars in Southern California and elsewhere. 2. Teach theology courses on-line. 3. Teach at Singapore Bible College. 4. Continue our research on "Mainland Chinese Intellectuals and Christian Theology." 5. Publish additional books and tapes, as funds are available. 6. Participate in the leadership of a conference on biblical authority for Chinese Christians. We trust that the Lord is honored when we focus our efforts to do what we can do, with the resources He has supplied. We continue to press on with our vision statement in mind: China Horizon was raised up by God to address ideas and doctrines impacting the vitality and purity of the Chinese Church; and to nurture qualified servant leaders who will influence the Chinese church in the 21st century. Your prayers are coveted. For Christ and Chinese minds, Samuel Ling
